Job description

This is a very interesting and challenging role for a qualified scientist to work on a joint Knowledge Transfer Partnership, between SWMAS and the University of Plymouth. The key objective of this role is to review evidence and develop best practice to optimise a new Scope 3 assessment tool that will enable the value chain for manufacturing and other sectors to greatly reduce emissions to achieve 2050 Net Zero targets. This will prepare the way for the adoption of Life Cycle Assessment in the longer term.

A good first degree with a minimum 2.1 (Hons) in a relevant subject such as Environmental Science, Engineering, Business or similar, with a post graduate qualification or equivalent experience.
