Job description
You will lead a transformation project to develop to facilitate Ageing
in Place, integrating digital design, digital manufacture, and assembly
into a holistic construction system. Research will be applied to
development projects at Kingfield Developments Ltd which you will help
deliver.
Based at Kingtfield, you will work with an academic team from the
Architecture department at Northumbria University, who will provide support
to meet the project aims.
The candidate should have:
– experience of research applied to real‐life practical problems
specific to architecture;
– worked on housing developments
– a knowledge of digital processes and manufacture (modern methods of
construction, MMC);
Knowledge of longevity housing is an advantage.

Project description
This KTP project will develop designs for a range of houses to facilitate Ageing in Place, integrating digital design, digital manufacture, and assembly into a holistic construction system. The KTP Associate will help embed this work into Kingfield Development’s housing design portfolio, construction project processes, and manufacturing systems.
