The Role

Supported by a comprehensive project plan and academic experts at Leeds Beckett University, you will work with the team at QBOL to undertake the following list of tasks:

• Business and Technical requirements analysis – including functional / non-functional technical requirements gathering and analysis; review of relevant management accounting and sustainable supply chain logistics-related data.
• Data pipeline development –identification and integration of relevant data sources; appropriate data storage; data workflow and pipeline creation.
• Machine learning models building and validation – encompasses data visualisation and analytics; data pre-processing; models building,
• Software system development – design and development of a user-centric software system with efficient frontend and backend functionalities.
• Deployment, QBOL staff training and commercial roll out to stakeholders.

Project description

Supported by a comprehensive project plan, the KTP associate will work with the team at QBOL and Leeds Beckett to undertake the following list of tasks:

• Business and Technical requirements analysis – including functional / non-functional technical
requirements gathering and analysis; review of relevant management accounting and sustainable
supply chain logistics-related data.
• Data pipeline development –identification and integration of relevant data sources; appropriate
data storage; data workflow and pipeline creation.
• Machine learning models building and validation – encompasses data visualisation and analytics;
data pre-processing; models building,
• Software system development – design and development of a user-centric software system with
efficient frontend and backend functionalities.
• Deployment, QBOL staff training and commercial roll out to stakeholders.

This is underpinned throughout the project by:

• The creation of a collaborative project team to build networks and to identify, and engage, internal
and external stakeholders.
• Embedding of new knowledge, tools and operational models into the business including the creation of a knowledge bank of information that can be used beyond the life of the project.
• Working closely with, and regularly briefing, the senior management team regarding project progress and delivery – including presenting at quarterly management meetings.
• Any other duties commensurate with this post.
