As an organisation KTN recognises the importance of face-to-face events and we know how valued these are as networking opportunities. However, following the latest advice issued by the UK government we understand that many people will not be travelling or attending events in person for the foreseeable future.
For this reason we have decided to postpone the planned KTP Best of the Best Awards Ceremony, when the winners are announced, from 4 June to 9 September 2020. We will of course keep plans for the Ceremony itself, at The Royal Society in London, under continuous review, but the date for the announcement of the winners will now be Wednesday 9 September 2020. We will reveal the shortlisted nominations in May/June.
“In these challenging times we plan to continue linking organisations and knowledge bases for collaborative impact via KTP and continue supporting and celebrating collaboration – something that is needed now more than ever”, said Gerry Black, Senior KTA at the KTN.
Whilst our intention is very much to hold the Awards event as planned at The Royal Society we need to be flexible in such rapidly changing conditions. We are temporarily migrating many of the KTN events to a digital environment and bringing on board new tools and platforms to provide as engaging an online experience as possible.
As we all adjust to this dynamic situation, we will also be doing our best to continue supporting all our partners in making the connections that will drive positive change.
