The Future Innovator category of the KTP Best of the Best Awards spotlights the depth and diversity of opportunities created for KTP Associates – as well as the exceptional impact made by these talented Graduates and Post Graduates who lead each KTP Project.
In AI, Engineering, Materials Science, Biotech, Green Energy, NPD, Data Science, Health and more, KTP Associates are helping push new boundaries, acting as the key interface between company and university teams in each KTP project.
Some of the distinguished names of former KTP Associates whose role has provided a career springboard include well known TV Historian, Suzannah Lipscomb; the current Head of Online at Montezuma’s Chocolates, Shirin Chehayeb; Chief of Manufacturing Engineering at Rolls Royce, Tom Slater; Research Specialist (AI & Immersive Technology) at BT, Anasol Peña-Rios; and Mhairi McClair, Engineering Manager at Skyscanner.
With around 70% of Associates being offered a full time job by their company at the end of the project the KTP Associate role provides a great opportunity to lead positive change – and forge a fulfilling career.
There were an unprecedented number of high quality nominations in the Future Innovator category this year – a testament to the high regard in which these KTP Associates are held by their companies.
The Category is supported by specialist training company, Ashorne Hill, whose Senior Programme Director, Terry Gordon, commented:
“Ashorne is proud to have worked with KTP for over 16 years, delivering management, commercial and personal skills training to over 4,000 Associates. We are constantly amazed at the standard of the individuals, the projects they undertake, and the level of innovation we see every week. We still get a buzz when we see the launch of a new product or innovation and know that we have worked with the Associate who developed it, when it was just an idea. For us, it is a privilege to support the awards.”
With 18 Finalists in the running this year, we reveal the winners at our special Virtual Awards Ceremony being held in the Laval Virtual World on Wednesday 9 September, 4-5pm. Brought to you by KTN, in partnership with Immerse UK, the event is your chance to customise your avatar, join the celebration of KTP success and network on the beach at the after party.
