Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious graduate to take on this strategic project with the support of mentors from Partners for Endoscopy Ltd, Staffordshire University and Innovate UK. The project will develop an asset tracking system for medical equipment (30-month fixed term contract). The medical equipment management system, with track and trace capabilities for medical equipment’s usage and cleaning, with the objective to transform patient safety. Using technologies such as sensors, signal processing, wireless communications, software development and cloud product development.

Working closely with Partners for Endoscopy Ltd and academics at Staffordshire University, the successful candidate will lead all aspects of the project including requirements analysis, technical infrastructure and system design and software development.

The project will be based at Partners for Endoscopy Ltd in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. Some time may be required to work at Staffordshire University in Stoke-on-Trent to make use of the excellent prototyping facilities and some work at client sites will be expected, this role requires regular travel to remote sites that are not easily accessible via public transport. As part of the role, the successful candidate will receive a personal training and development budget.
