Job description

This position is initially for a 24 month fixed term contract, employed by Teesside University but working day to day with Enginuity.
The appointed candidate will have access to a £4k dedicated training budget tailored towards their personal development, access to leading industry experts and supervision from a leading academic research team from Teesside University’s, led by Dr Xiaoxian Zhu.

Ideal Candidates will have the following Knowledge and Experience:
* Good theoretical knowledge and understanding of Workforce planning tools and their real-world application.
* Working knowledge of qualitative and quantitative data design, collection and analysis.
* Experience of utilising research, data science and analytical tools (e.g. Power BI) to collate,
interrogate and analyse data from a range of public and private sources.
* Strong communication skills including report writing.
* Demonstrable Project Management experience
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work both independently and within a team setting.

This position forms part of the Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) funded by Innovate UK. It’s essential you understand how KTP works with business and the University, and the vital role you will play if you successfully secure a KTP Associate position.

Project description

To develop a skills-based data science driven Workforce Planning Toolkit for the Engineering and Manufacturing Sector, in order to create a skills foresighting service which will identify and respond to future technical skills requirements within the sector.
