Project description

Have you heard of KTP? It is probably one of the best kept secrets, it includes a substantial budget of £4,000 ringfenced for YOU to spend on YOUR professional development. The KTP scheme offers you an invaluable way to fast-track your career development. Around 90% of our KTP project leaders end up being offered permanent roles within the business at the end of the project, allowing you to continue climbing the career ladder and becoming an industry leader of tomorrow.

Leeds Beckett University also offer all of our KTP project leaders the opportunity to study for a FULLY FUNDED higher degree, so if you want to add to your educational profile, this would be the perfect opportunity.

What we are looking for…..

We need an enthusiastic, keen-to-learn and pro-active person, with a strong marketing / business management background and degree. You will be well supported by academic experts at Leeds Beckett, but you need to be curious, open to new challenges and prepared to involve yourself in all aspects of a business that is customer-orientated and deadline driven. There are not many job opportunities that give you direct access to leading academic experts and with this role you will have them to support you, guiding and navigating the challenges of this exciting project.

If you have some professional work experience in a client-focused, commercial environment, this would be a distinct advantage. Experience of digital projects is desirable, and some knowledge / interest in sustainability or visual merchandising will be beneficial.

You MUST have strong inter-personal skills to be successful in a KTP and you need to be able to engage with people of a variety of ages and backgrounds.
