Job description

The purpose of this role is to develop, implement, and evaluate the ProActive Minds programme; an innovative suite of activities and resources that promote mental and physical health in children and young people. The project will embed sport and exercise psychology knowledge and skills within the Active Schools Aberdeen team to position them to make a positive contribution to community mental health and wellbeing and achieve ambitious social and financial impacts.

The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the successful completion of the development, implementation and research of the ProActive Minds programme. They will be responsible for the co-ordination and day-to-day delivery of the project, in collaboration with the university and business partners. The postholder will manage the administrative and operational aspects of the project and will have the opportunity to disseminate project outputs through, for example, generate publications, present at conferences, and take part in grant writing.

The project will embed sport and exercise psychology knowledge and skills within the company and position it to expand the ProActive Minds programme nationally.
