Job description
To develop and embed a product development & innovation infrastructure to develop, design and implement new alternative flooring products using sustainable materials which provide equivalent structural strength with lower energy processing and recyclability.
Project description
This position is initially for a 24 month fixed term contract, employed
by Teesside University but working day to day with Lionweld.
The appointed candidate will have access to a £4k dedicated training
budget tailored towards their personal development, access to leading
industry experts and supervision from a leading academic research team from
Teesside University including Dr David Hughes, Dr Gatheeshgar Perampalam
and Angela Lawrence.
About the business

Lionweld has operated (under different names) for over 100 years and has supported the construction sector with the design, manufacture, fabrication and supply of open steel grating, handrails, stair treads and ladders, supplying the same component types in GRP for over 30 years.
