Job description

This KTP will develop and integrate artificial intelligence and machine learning technology into Tekgem’s flagship real-time industrial cyber security software platform.

The objective of this is to identify cyber security risks in real time, based upon known vulnerabilities and threats to industrial control systems. The technology will use a range of vulnerability datasets and threat intelligence sources to intelligently risk assess industrial devices.

Project description

This position is initially for a 24 month fixed term contract, employed by Teesside University but working at Tekgem (UK) Limited day to day. The appointed candidate will have access to a £5k dedicated training budget tailored towards their personal development, access to industry leading technology and supervision from a leading academic research team from Teesside University.

About the business

Tekgem UK Limited's core service is the provision of industrial cyber security predominantly within critical control sectors (process / chemical industries). In essence, Tekgem deliver initial cyber security assessments followed by consultancy services to manage risks. Tekgem are based in Sedgefield, Durham and employ c15 members of staff.
