THE PROJECT
The University of Essex in partnership with RoboK Limited offers an exciting opportunity to work in a project that aims to bring robust AI to the edge by optimising deep learning-based 3D perception models for a low-power computing platform.

This post is fixed term for 24 months and is based at RoboK’s offices in Cambridge.

DUTIES OF THE POST

The duties of the post will include:

• Development and testing of RoboK’s DL-based perception software for embedded systems.
• Use and extend RoboK’s optimisation pipeline to deploy DL-based perception software to low-power computing platforms.
• Benchmarking of RoboK’s deep learning-based models and algorithms on various computing platforms.
• Debugging of RoboK’s embedded software to troubleshoot problems.
• Generation of reports and presentations regarding embedded software development work.
• Embedding technology and upskilling company staff
• Participating in academic and/or industrial conferences and other events, to disseminate and present research outcomes to the wider community.
• Publish peer-reviewed articles in High Impact Journals in collaboration with RoboK and academics at the University of Essex.
