The University of Essex in partnership with PFE Express Limited offers an exciting opportunity to a graduate with the relevant skills and knowledge to use customised digital transformation and platform development to accelerate and automate end-to-end business processes whilst positioning themselves as an entrepreneurial firm by exploring and implementing business innovation strategies.
This post is fixed term for 30 months and is based at PFE Express’ offices in Witham, Essex.
Duties of the post
The duties of the post will include:
• Look at the existing systems, make recommendations for digitisation to
PFE’s new software developer team and explore algorithmic design for
automation.
• Manage the cultural aspects of becoming digitised and create an action
and learning plan for both management and employee level
• Provide training for staff to understand how to use data to inform
agile decision making.
• Audit, organise, identify and select the work-flows that should be
handled by new platforms(s) and implement an appropriate system that
increases efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support the embedding of new systems which are appropriate to full
digitisation
• Harness the data points created both internally and externally,
allowing us to measure and explore this to prepare PFE for the scale which
our demand forecast indicates is achievable.
